User-Contributed Transcription Fowler, Kansas, July 1, 1906My Dear Aunt Mary:--I will write you a few words this afternoon, as I have not written you for some little time. We have been in a "period of transition," and I have neglected my correspondence. I am not sure, indeed, that I acknowledged to you the receipt of the Utica box, and I am sure that I did not acknowledge it to the cousins. I will try to write them tomorrow. The things came just as we were tearing up and packing, so I put off writing about them till I should be more settled. We were very much pleased with them, and are indeed grateful to the cousins, and grateful to you for having them sent. Roberts is pretty well provided for now with coats and pants; and the waists for him fill a pressing need and help wonderfully. The largest coat I shall be able to wear some, and Mr. Davies, our Welsh friend at Severy, who is a tailor, lengthened the sleeves for me so as to make the garment usable. The
