User-Contributed Transcription who hid his Lord's money, but what was onetalent of money, compared with the manyand varied talents of mind, each capable ofan almost limitless growth, with which ourMaster has entrusted us? We may be temptedto say, it is not much that our little mindscan accomplish, but, is there such a thingas a little mind? A mind may be dwarfedin growth, and cramped in action, but inits elements, in its possibilities, is not everymind great? Henry Ward Beecher, says,"I honor every man for the possibility ofgood there is in him, so ought we to respectevery mind, our own among the numberfor the possibilities of good there are in them.I have no doubt than any one present, who should studiously and perseveringlycultivate his powers of thought, would, ina few years, have his name placed in thehonored list of great men. But idle waitingwill not bring success. Think you that thateloquent speaker gained such a ready flow
