User-Contributed Transcription her down gently. "Jesus can make a dying bed soft as downy pillows are." With his loving arms about us and underneath us we have nothing to fear. There is a goodly company standing on the other side ready to greet her. Oh dear cousins but for the dear ones here that will miss her, and be so lonely without her, I could hardly ask for her to stay. Be of good cheer dear ones, God knoweth best and will do all this well. I am so thankful you were permitted to make that visit. We all enjoyed it very much and had hoped that you might repeat it, all of you. Father has been poorly all winter, has not been able to get his boot on untill about a week. One of his limbs has been very much swollen with erysipelas he has nearly recovered now. Mother was poorly most of the summer and fall but is looking better.
