User-Contributed Transcription 340 Genesee Utica Feb. 14th 1892 My Dear Cousin I brought the baby home with me last Monday evening, after his fathers funeral he made his loss so plainly known, it was very pittiful calling his Papa(though he can speak but a few words,) in the morning before Clarence was placed in the casket, while he was still on the bed, just as if he was sleeping & the blanket tucked under his arm as he was on his side he looked as if he was really sleeping. Ella took the baby in her arms and said "we will go and see Papa" said it calmly & cheerfully as if he was really there,
