Dear Mr. Conroy;
I am writing to you again for several reasons; one of which is to thank you again for putting me in touch with the 'Foolkiller' magazine. They were very prompt about sending me the special issue I requested for which I am grateful.
Mr. Conroy, I know you are a very busy person and I know you might not be able to answer this letter, but you are the only one I know who might be in a position to give me some answers to some questions I have had going around in my mind since I finally accepted the fact that Bill Mason was dead. Those questions include how, where and why. You interviewed Bill. Did he seem to you the kind of young man who would take his own life?
As for me, I am married now and have a family, but I first met Bill in 1953 in the early spring. I don't believe, at that time, he had been home from military service long and he was still very nervous from that and from the fact that he had been on the same boat that had brought his older brother, Johnny, home. Johnny had been killed in action and Bill, himself, had been wounded by shell fragments in his leg and a head injury. At that time, he also found he had family troubles and, when I  met him, was in the final phases of getting a divorce from
