Dear Jack:
The tone of the note won't convey the feeling I want to express about so many things. About my visit back home, the effect of seeing old friends again and, each with a different perspective, imposed by a two year separation of time and several thousands of miles in distance.
It's still very vivid and I could do the feelings justice was it not for the fact that to-nite is Halloween and a day which has special meaning for me in view of a childhood friendship with a blind man, made so by the one time use of bean blowers on this occasion.
The above recurrent yearly memory prevents my doting on a pleasant theme. To avoid consciousness of the day I took myself to a stupid movie but before and after have had all
