Another thing is being able to sleep outside every night to escape blood sucking tics that infest the one room that 4 of us peace corps [[men?]] are sharing. We watch the stars for satellites, shooting stars, and count the stars in the Milky Way at night. Then there is the Hari Rod* river that comes by our front doorstep and wading out in the middle to sit on a rock and read after a day of tramping around fighting with old ladies, and young screaming ladies and screaming kids. The thought that is preserving my sanity these days is the fact that in 6 1/2 months it will be all over and at least a month & a half of that time we will not be working. Then of course, I'm wound up in planning my trip home, Russia, Istanbul, Haifa, Tel Aviv, the Greek Islands - (I learned last night at Ruth's going away party that while visiting the Greek Islands, Lenore will stay as a house guest with the parents of a Greek girl who is married to a Spanish wobbly who was born in Milwakee [[Milwaukee]].
