User-Contributed Transcription July 1, 1927 Dear Aunt & Cousin, I hope I am not to late with this letter and so sorry to hear that Aunt is so bad off. I surely am so sorry that I have not wrote before, as I know she would of enjoyed hearing from us, but let us hope she can enjoy the letter yet. But May if poor Aunt has to suffer so that is terrible, and she surely will be well off when she is out of her suffering. Now I know what it is to stand over the sick as I have took care of Father & Ray since the 13 of Apr. and have not had my clothes off only 2 nights, and to change in that time. While Father was here I was up every other night as the Dr. stayed every other night. and took care of them. but I left my clothes on just the same as at 10 o'clock I would go to bed and the Dr. would say Nellie I might need you before mornng so that ment be ready.
