Papa is in Michigan this week and offered to take us to dinner some time in August. Will invite him out pretty soon. Just heard from him for the first time this week. Said he didn't write before because he knew I would be too busy to answer. I have been taking time to practice some duets with Virginia Kopp, and we both enjoy it. Some of them sound very well indeed. Malcolm held the baby several times at short intervals the other day. Will try to get a picture of him with Marvin in his arms. He is very nice to the baby, always and I am so glad he has him. He always says "my baby" when he speaks of him. The other day Clara Wimpress came up on the porch to look at the baby. Malcolm was standing nearby and she said (as so many people have said, drat 'em) "I'm going to steal your baby brother and take him home with me." Malcolm spread his arms protectingly,
