We are having remarkably mild weather - has been with us since the 1st, and some people anticipate that it will continue to be mild for the rest of the winter. Little colder today - 36 (degrees) - usually 40 at this time of day, 2 p.m. Washed today as went to town yesterday. Got 3 bath towels, some cretonne for south room windows and closet doorway, suit for Malcolm, some water glasses, stockings for myself and a handkerchief. Prices are a little lower. the cretonne was 33 c per yard - very pretty 36 in. wide Got 12 yards.
