The postman has just brought my balsam pillow. Thank you ever so much, Mummie. I am going to town today and will get cloth to make a cover for it. The p.m. was quite interested in the package and said that he had got some balsam in Wis. once. That it was mean stuff to strip. While we were talking my door blew shut. Luckily the back door was open so I was not locked out.
Dr. Zeh + Max have agreed to clean the kitchen floor every Sunday morning so that matter is off my mind. I found a carpet beater down cellar yesterday and used it on the two small rugs in the front room. My! but they were dirty.
We are having lovely weather, sunshiny and a little cool, but just right for walking. The puss cat is growing nicely and takes an active interest in defending our yard from Mrs. Andrus' chickens. I have to watch him for fear he will do them mischief.
So glad you are enjoying your visit at Darts. Hope you will get the newspaper all right. I addressed down at Anderson's and put the p.o. Big Moose Lake 90? Darts but guess it will be all right.
