User-Contributed Transcription I don't believe he weighed 75 lbs.  so you see dear Cousin what I have been up against and then to have to help milk and do the chores through the day as Darwin was teaching.  don't talk about work and trouble. I have had it all this spring. It does seem hard for you and us as they are wanted and then to think they are taken when their are some that are in the way and so bad off.   Darwin has a man to help and they are shingling the big red barn expect to finish to day.   I thought that you and Aunt Libbie would come with Uncle John this Summer. I looked for you last year. I hope that Aunt is better and that you might see us once more now if she is alive and knows tell her that Father never knew of her & baby Altana's fall. but Altana is all right she is getting over the German measles. and she passed biology.
