came. Bette Davis acting in it is superlative; in fact all the acting is excellent: the story seems to me rather good but not wonderful.
I liked "The Story of an African Farm" in the early eighties; have not read it since. Do not think I should care for it now.
Am not sure whether I had my once = over by a doctor before or after I wrote you last. He said my heart was in good shape for my age, and prescribed a tonic containing digitalis which I am taking twice a day. Am not in the least worried about death, but should hate to have a long sickness.
Barney Berlyn was one of the best: I never knew his son.
