Ducky Marder,–
Have been expecting a letter from you for several days but it hasn't come yet. I got the one saying you were still at Mrs. Elliott's and had had no chance to inquire about r.r. fare. Hope to get one tomorrow saying how much it is so I can send it right away. Then perhaps you can come before May 1st.
Yesterday was lovely. The first ideal Easter we have had for six or seven years. It is just as nice today and I hope the weather will continue to be like this! I'm getting so tired of wearing my blue dress and kitchen aprons! Nothing new, and even the former seems to be getting too small in the waist. But I haven't much longer to wait, have I?
I have just written Margaret Schoenfeld, inviting her to come in and visit me next Saturday or Monday. I wonder if the violets and other wild flowers are in bloom yet. Perhaps she will bring some if they are. Nellie Zeh has given me her $1.00 for a sub to the Pictorial Review but I have no other so far. I am trying
