Description
Writings and correspondence of Slim Brundage, founder of the College of Complexes, which operated on and off out of several locations on Chicago’s Near North Side during the 1950's-1960's as a forum where speakers and the audience debated controversial topics and read poetry. The collection also includes a variety of documents relating to the College of Complexes itself, such as correspondence, press releases, speaker solicitations, and poetry written by the College’s “students.”

Sorry you had to go straight home from Mex, in such a tizzy. I had heard a little of it from Jane, but not about Bill Smith. She said the landlord had gotten after "the girls." (Your harem, I assume) Anyway, I hope you'll get it straightened out OK.
Thank God, I'm not a "landlady" any more (most hated class on earth!) and never will be again. It's worth paying exorbitant taxes & utility bills on an empty house just not to have tenants (who are actually the lowest lice alive!) It looks like I'll die owning the Altadena house & someone else will inherit the problem. But I inherited quite a few problems myself so why not pass it along?
We had a hot spell ove the Mem. Day weekend (good for the working classes both here & in Moscow) but it's now cooling off.
With love from all
Virgine
Had my new little coal-black cat (she looks like a seal) spayed. She's recovering O.K and where have all the tom cats gone?
