User-Contributed Transcription 2/ my application, but it will probably not be the full amount allowed, $60.00 per month. I'll pay my taxes promptly which will lower my chk'g acc - and I told her my intention of having the house re-wired, and that will lower my deposit -  Recipients are allowed $600.00 and at present I have a little over that. I phoned in the announcement for Old Settlers' picnic Oct 6th and it was broadcast from Sebring at 6:15 p.m. and will be repeated up to and including the 5th. I folded the mimeographed letter and stuffed envelopes, abt. 120, on Wednesday. Byrum helped lick them and took them to mail, so I guess my labors are ended for that part - Cora and I are quivering tho for the success of the affair, for B. didn't appoint any committees until about a week ago. Barnett, the V.P. is uncooperative and refuses to do anything so I told Cora all we can do is to wait and hope.  Isn't Dalton the guy who not only painted the house but a picture that hung on the stair-case landing wall? Did she[?] eat raw onions the way Eisenhower got his heart attack? I don't wonder
