User-Contributed Transcription Mrs. May Walden 420 West Bell Street Avon Park, Fla. 1-26-'56 Darling Tafern Dated my last letter one day behind. Mr. Massy took mixed basket for Hayes yesterday aft. I revise my statement of yesterday's letter. Charge Hayes same as the others - $6.00. I picked the grape fruit myself, washed and packed it and filled the upper half with sweet navels and on top enough June bloom to fill up. Wrote a letter to Malcolm and told him he could call it a birthday gift instead of a Christmas gift, and enclosed a jar of guava jelly. Yours had quomquot preserves that Mrs. Beyer gave me months ago. Malcolm will be 39. Hope it gets there on his birthday.
