User-Contributed Transcription 2 pictures of Marlene. The ones with the dog are especially beautiful. Haven't heard from that family about the gift of oranges. Hope they got them promptly. Frank's trunk is an old curiosity shop - He was hunting some rubber gloves that he bought several years ago - Afterwards found them and used while making 2 or 3 quarts of g.f. juice. He found several articles that he presented to me- a travelling comb, ditto pencil, a woolen scarf, a tie that I enclose for Max - I think it beautiful, but he never even took it out of the box. Says it's out of style now - If Max doesn't approve of it, please give it to Harold. Did I write you about our near quarrel over an insured c.o.d. (his watch that he had sent to some jewelry firm in Chicago for repairs) that came some 10 days or so before he came? He denied that there was an insured c.o.d.; that I had paid it; that he would have to be shown
