User-Contributed Transcription 4 so crowded. So glad you had the nice visit with Connie and the pink blouse you bought. By all means get the red shoes to wear with the red hat. I can imagine how much satisfaction you get now from wearing red. Which I forbad when you were a child and yearned for it. So go to it! Presume Harold's will tell you about the b-day card I sent. Hope he liked the sentiment I wrote. It's a good thing he doesn't worry. Makes it easier for you and Max. How is Max? I'm still waiting for a letter. I wish I could be one of the kiddies to go with you to see Huckleberry Finn I'm sorry I mentioned sending Blanche Patch to anybody. I wanted you to enjoy it, and thought maybe you had finished. I should know better. If you haven't sent it, don't do so yet, for she mentioned having company through Feb'y and couldn't read until she was gone. Glad you have a good careful driver. Your transportation is my chief worry, and am always glad when you have a safe one. Sun has come out and it'll be a nice day. Have had several since the rain. Glad we don't live in Holland. Much love, Mother.
