User-Contributed Transcription 3 Mrs. May Weldon 420 West Bell Street Avon Park, Fla.  and turned the red, white & blue ribbons on his "sons of Osteraus" badge. At times he can be so ugly and obstinate and at others he can be so angelic! I've began to pray again: "God help me to be sweet and patient all the time he's here". We are warned about a terrible cold wave - 22 degrees to 24 degrees in this Ridge district tomorrow and Sat. mornings - I hate to think of all this lovely fruit being frozen. It would be awful. Went this aft. to a silver tea for the benefit of the Library at Mrs. Earl Hart's same place for several years. I invited a Miss Barnes and her friend, and Mrs. Beyer to go as Miss Barnes has a car. It was pretty cold and windy to go through the gardens, but the lovely azaleas, gardenias, etc. etc. were all worth it. The house beautifully decorated, the refreshments. I took a cup of tea and it was delicious - perfect. After the tea we called on a friend of Mrs. Beyer's, an elderly German lady who has her legs bound up from inner varicose veigns, a very interesting woman, not educated specially, but I saw some odd tapestries on her walls, and lots of
