User-Contributed Transcription violent exercise for both of them and Laura replied to my comment "Yes! I'm not used to it." Then they cleaned up to be presentable and they took over to the Jacaranda Coffee Shop (we looked at 2 or 3 other places that were closed, we found) and had a very super abundant meal of fried 1/2 chicken with vegetables after appetisers of tomato juice and lettuce and jello ?um? We decided tat once we would carry off all we couldn't eat, mine for the cats, theirs for today's lunch. So the good natured waitress brought waxed paper and we wrapped the plunder up before she cleared the plates for dessert of fine blueberry pie. I had a glass of milk, Florence tea and Laura 2 cups of coffee. Then we drove around town a little so they could get a little idea of the size and wealth of the town. They were very pleased with it all. I had announced that five or six cactus buds were to open, so we say on the steps where it was cooler than on the porch but the buds didn't open - guess they had bloomed the night before! Laura especially felt the heat, and each took her turn at bathing and reappearing clothed for the night. It was more than 9:30 when
