User-Contributed Transcription haven't been but once this winter. Paul - the manager, you remember, who wanted to "keep company" with me, said the other day that he would bring over some slides and let me write some pithy sentences from The Appeal to Reason and show them with the ads. I proposed the scheme and he consented readily -   I have canned 13 quarts of pure grape fruit juice for use next summer. Have lots more to do, but it is such hard work to squeeze the fruit that I didn't do any today. The skin on my hands and arms are about normal once more. Muscles are sore.  Shall be glad to get the last numbers of the Soc. Review. Is Pop having a hard time making expenses these days?  I hope you will enjoy it in G.E. all of you - I don't want any of you to be disappointed in the place.  Has doctor Zak rented the flat? There will be so much to do out there at first that you must be careful to not over-do. Hope you can get some good help to clean and straighten up. Maybe Margaret could help you. It will be fine having your old friends near-by.  Yes, I saw the cartoons "Cures for Spring Fever". Very good indeed. I can't tell you how much we both enjoy The Tribune! If it fails to come (it doesn't often) we feel lost.  Tafern, G. M. is sending you a rug for the bathroom in G.E. Hope you will like it. It will be too long for the bath room at 464 in. I think. She sewed all the rags and had it woven. she says that we don't have expert weavers here, but I tell her you won't know [written in left margin]  the difference. Mr. Spink goes Tuesday, then we will be free once more.  It is quite a task to plan a dinner every day for a Catholic diet now it is Lent. Stacks of love to both. Mother
