Dear Folks at Home
Again I resume my pen to inform you of "nothing," in as many volumes as you wish. received your's today dated Dec. 25th/54, mailed Jan 26th 1855 that is consistent I suppose: all right: am here for a day only. came in this morning, go back to night to Minnetonka News is as scarce here as with you. dull times for that, or, no time to attend to it work enough and pressing I can live contented anywhere when I'm employed: or, for a lodge in some vast wilderness: here we have it at and about Minnetonka is the roughest country you ever saw
