Some correspondence and documents concern travel to California begun in 1849.

User-Contributed Transcription The said parties further covenants and agreesthat the said party of the first part, or her agent, shall have at all times, the rightof ingress and egress, upon said land here-tofore described: ________ and Shall also havethe rights to make improvements on said landwhenever she, the said party of the first partor, her agent, may choose to do so, andthat the covenants and agreements herein contai-ned, shall be obligatory upon his heirs, executors,administrators of said parties respectively: and that the said party of the second part agreesto give to the said party of the first partquiet, and peaceable possession of said premisesand real estate, at the expiration of said termherein contained.
