User-Contributed Transcription These are also mounted on shields & engraved GF RuxtonAfrica 1842 a rhinoceros horn, and 4 other fairly large big game horns. They are in a good state of preservationand would look well in a group on any wall of a fair sized house. There is another brass mounted huntingpowder horn, rather a good one. Most of these things resulted from a hunting trip in Africa in 1842.Again I really do not know what they are worth, but I will get the advice of some antique dealer whoknows more about these things than I do.
