Dear Mr. Anderson:
I turned over your agents' letter to the [[?]] Committee of the University of Arizona, and I see by the papers you are to talk here on Mar 23rd. I wanted you to stay with us, but we're in such a muddle that it can't be. Try to wangle a couple of hours one afternoon and we'll visit a while.
Right now I have my three in bed - one in each room. Stan with a temporary fever and convestion, my mother with high blood pressure and our young friend, a girl of 21, with t.b. Meanwhile I scramble along with a juvenile for appletons' and sundry short stuff that won't sell.
This tyranny will be overpast long before the end of March, I trust, so I hope we shall be in our right minds when we meet.
Paul Green darted in for a few minutes today, and I know he thought he'd come to an asylum or something.
N.B. Your book hasn't turned up yet. A lady at the library asked me what color your eyes are and I couldn't tell her.
All good wishes from
Mari and Stan
