Chronicles 1stAnd it came to pass that there was a certain man named George whose surname was Weaver preaching in the temple at Marietta, also his brother-in-law Paul whom they call Kendall who went about teaching and doing good. And the teachers marvelled much saying this man is a Universalist, others he is a Yankee go not after him neither send ye your children to his school. But Paul said unto them I will establish a good school. And he did so. Moreover he said unto his scholars I will make rules and ye shall consider them as laws. The first and great commandment is ye shall not leave your room during study hours and the second is like unto it, ye shall in no wise omit compositions for we have adopted study hours that ye may thereby learn much and it was so. In those days came Potter? also. Then said the scholars one to another what manner of man is this they have brought to teach us we will not have this man to rule over us and they all with one voice cried away with him and they cast him out and he went into a far country And the school grew and its fame spread over all the land. When lo! two sisters came. The the people said of a truth it is a good school. Chronicle 2ndAnd the word of the teachers came unto the scholars saying Write. And they said what shall I write? And they answered Morality, Wit and Humor that ye may improve and be useful in the station which ye occupy.N25
