Dearest Jack and Alyce,
First and foremost, a heartfelt
"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY"
from Sue, my fiancée, and myself. (Hm, I realize that's ambiguous, so I'd better note that Sue is indeed my fiancée, and the good wishes come from two, rather than three of us.)
Secondly, my thanks to Tim for the smashing Xmas presents. The soap came to a marvellous end in my high-tech shower, the V.I.P. keychain is attached to the set of keys to Sue's flat which is presented on arrival to our illustrious houseguests - among whom we expect to number the Fullers before too long - and the T-shirt was a humongous hit with my classmates at City University Business School. In fact, we may put in a large order for the alumni association.
On the subject of school, you will be amused to hear that I am enrolled for a part-time Ph.D. in Finance, continuing my work o =n the law of the professional negligence indemnity insurance market. My professor is attempting to screw some funding out of the industry, which would certainly be
